Military Trauma Surgeon
Duties and Responsibilities: A military trauma surgeon is a surgeon that works on a battlefield. These kinds of surgeons have to think very fast. They also have to be very quick on their feet and they can’t hesitate to make decisions about their patients. Surgeons will have to assess their injuries and stabilize them before they can be transferred to another hospital for long-term care.
Salary: $87,350
Education: A military trauma surgeon first has to become a surgeon before they enroll in the army. They have to go 4 years of college and 4 years of medical school to learn everything any other surgeons do. They also have to learn how be quick on their feet and how to make quick decisions before wanting to enroll as a trauma surgeon.
Reflection: This career does not interest me because it’s too risky. Helping because is a good career choice but i wouldn’t want to do it in a place where everyone’s life is at risk.
