Recreation therapist
Duties and responsibilities: recreational therapists plan, direct, and coordinate recreation-based treatments programs for people with disabilities, injuries, or illnesses. They use a variety of activities including arts and crafts; drama, music, and dance; sports and games; aquatics; and community outings to help maintain or improve a patient's physical, social, and emotional well-being.

Salary: $45,890

Education: A bachelor’s degree is required to start becoming a recreational therapist. Educational programs typically cover areas such as treatment and program planning, human anatomy, physiology, and professional ethics. A lot of employers prefer to hire candidates that are Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialists.(CTRS)

Demand for this profession: Job outlook is expected to grow 12% in 2014-2024

Reflection: Recreational therapy doesn’t interest me because i’m not very good at working with other people or giving advice.
