“I am not bound to win, but i am bound to be true. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong.”
-Abraham Lincoln
This statement teaches to always stick with the people that choose the right, but the second they choose the wrong, you must part ways. When someone chooses the right, it will influence the people around them to do the same. If a person does what’s wrong, then the people around them will follow. The goal in life is to be true and to do your best. Not to win unfairly by cheating. If someone is influencing you to do what’s wrong then you must cut that person from your life completely. The only people that should be in your life is the people that encourage you to do good. You cannot let people influence to do bad. You must stand up for yourself and find better people to surround yourself with that can't possibly get you in trouble. Always choose the right and teach people to do the same.
