"What's right isn't always popular.
What's popular isn't always right."
-Albert Einstein
what this quote means is that what everyone is doing isn't always the right thing to do. The right thing to do isn't always what everyone is doing. If everyone is doing drugs or drinking and partying, doesn't mean it's right and that you should start doing it too. Doing the right thing isn't popular being everyone will see it as lame and boring. It's always good to be different and do the right thing instead of doing what's popular. If your friends invite you to do something that's wrong, but popular, tell them no. Maybe more people will join in saying no and doing the right thing will become popular. Another example is not wearing uniform. If it becomes popular more people will start to do it to seem cool. Their repercussion will be detention but people who choose the right won't have to worry about anything.
