this quote means that people should start encouraging people to do the right thing and stop doing what's wrong. Sometimes people are scared to stand up for what's right because they might stand alone. If people start encouraging others to do the right thing then more people will stand up for themselves when they're told to do something. It also takes courage to stop doing the wrong thing because maybe it might be embarrassing for someone. If you have the courage to do whats right others will follow because they won't be the only ones. For example, if a group is telling you to do something bad or wrong maybe other people in the group will follow because you had the courage to do what they didn't and you won't have to suffer the consequences of getting caught doing the bad thing because you did whats right.
